New York Stock Exchange Teacher Scholarship:
A $1500 scholarship for a five day summer program at the New York Stock Exchange for educators

The five-day workshop is designed to:

  • Provide educators with a thorough understanding of the capital-raising process, the NYSE agency auction market, regulation, and technology.
  • Increase teacher ability to include the stock market across curriculum disciplines.
  • Provide supporting materials and skills for classroom instructions.
  • Teachers also have an on-site visit to the trading floor, where they interface with market professionals.

The workshop is held at the NYSE from 8:30am - 4:30pm. Program dates will be available in April. Typically, the program is held at multiple times: end of June thru August. The workshop is free and a daily continental breakfast and luncheon buffet are included.

Teacher Scholarship winner receives $1500 to assist with expenses for transportation, hotel, and dinner. Discounted rates are provided to participants at a selected hotel.

Application Requirements:
Only open to registered Stock Market Game Teachers

Complete a "project" to help promote and expand the Stock Market Game™Program in your school and/or school district. Examples: offer a SMG workshop to teachers in their county or write an article for newspaper.
