| Description |
During this session, we will define supply and demand through real world examples, examine the ways in which these two forces interact, and demonstrate ways in which this interaction helps determine prices in the market. We will explore supply schedules, demand schedules, market equlibrium, and how certain factors influence supply and demand and affect prices. Participants will receive classroom-ready lesson plans designed to introduce and reinforce these concepts.
This is one of a series of Topics sessions focused on economic concepts embedded in the newly revised middle and high school History & Social Science SOLs. |
