Description
This five session series will reinforce teachers' knowledge about elementary economics concepts and will particularly focus on the changes in the revised History and Social Science Standards of Learning for grades K-5. Teachers will receive ideas for hands-on teaching and links to children's literature. Teachers must commit to at least four of the sessions scheduled for Monday, January 25, February 8, 22, and March 8, and 22 from 4:15pm to 6:00pm. Registration is through the Arlington County Social Studies Office.
